You must have seen this in many movies, the hero is having a wonderful dream. A loud ringing of the alarm wakes him up. He is shell-shocked and sits up on the bed with a heavy head in his palms. In another scene, we might see his mother shouting and pushing him out of the bed.Everyone, at some point in their life, has a problem getting up on time – just ask your friends. Here is a wonderful and simple way to get up on time on your own without your mother shouting or the alarm blaring.

Our body has a biological clock that increases our metabolism sharply, each day and initiates important physiological functions that tell our body that itโ€™s time to wake up. You will attain mastery over getting up whenever you want when you can send a wake-up message to this biological clock.

The Pillow Technique, as we call it, is very simple. Just before you go to sleep at night just tell your pillow what time would you like to wake up, at least three times. You think this is silly ? Its quite the opposite, in fact it is very effective technique.

Tell your pillow something like โ€˜โ€™Dear pillow wake me up tomorrow morning at 6 am sharpโ€™โ€™ three times, then go to sleep. That’s It!!

The only condition is that it should be the last thing you say before you drift off to sleep. No new thoughts till you enter the sleepy state. You will wake up the next morning, EXACTLY at the time you told your pillow.

This Pillow Technique might take some time to master, but once you get it right, it will be a wonderful tool for a lifetime. So chat with your pillow โ€“ and make it your friend.

TIP โ€“ In the morning your eyes will DEFINITELY open at the time you tell your pillow. But from that moment you have to take control. If you decide to sleep for โ€˜โ€™just five more minutesโ€™โ€™, youโ€™ll end up getting up a few hours afterwards!

The difference may be more or less everyday, but youโ€™ll see that it will gradually decline.
One of the best ways to make this method work is to tell the pillow the same wake up time every night i.e. tell it to wake you up at the same time every day. This is habit forming, and very effective. Decide the time NOW.
